We are looking for a good mixture of entry-level and advanced topics. Submit a well-researched and thought-provoking proposal highlighting practical solutions, cutting-edge developments in the field, or old favorites in a new way.

CFP Rules
Submissions will consist of:
- Title of your presentation/workshop
- Abstract (Short Description): Used for publication
- Long Description: More details on your presentation
- Duration of your presentation
- Speaker Bio
- Name/Nickname/Twitter Handle (to appear on our Speakers List)
- Photo/Avatar (to appear on our Speakers List)
CFP Rules & Review Process
- Presentations must be delivered in English.
- Travel & accommodation costs are not covered.
- Submissions deemed to be sales pitches for products/services or marketing campaigns will not be accepted.
- Any CFP submissions that do not abide by our Code of Conduct will not be accepted. https://bsidesreykjavik.com/code-of-conduct/
- Our independent CFP Review Panel will review all submitted abstracts for appropriateness and the all-important "wow" factor.
- All CFP submissions will be rated and ranked according to score, and then notices will be issued.
- In the event that a speaker is selected but does not reply to confirm they can attend by the deadline, the spot will be offered to someone on the wait-list. Pay attention to deadlines below and make sure you have an email address in the system that you check frequently. Keep your profile up to date if your situation changes.

September 24, 2026: CFP Opens 08:00
October 22, 2026: CFP Closes (+4 weeks)
November 12, 2026: First round of acceptance goes out (+3 weeks)
November 26, 2026: acceptances without confirmation are revoked. Second round of acceptances goes out (+2 weeks)
December 10, 2026: Final round of acceptances goes out if any of the second-round acceptances aren't confirmed. (+2 Weeks)
