In my talk, I'll delve into how Plang redefines security and privacy in coding. I'll cover how Plang inherently shields developers from security threats by eliminating common pitfalls, effectively neutralizing risks like password breaches, cross-site scripting, MITM attacks, and more.
I'll also highlight Plang's commitment to privacy, emphasizing its unique approach to data handling—where all personal user data is locally stored and encrypted, facilitating secure syncing across devices.
Moreover, I'll discuss Plang's Identity feature, which uses a password-less mechanism to anonymize user interactions with services, enhancing security without compromising usability.
An essential aspect of Plang's security model is the verifiability of code; by making the code transparent and verifiable, Plang ensures that users can audit and confirm the safety and integrity of their applications, fostering trust and reliability.
With over 26 years in the tech industry, In 2000 I founded barnaland.is, a online community for Icelandic parents, which evolved into bland.is, a leading classified platform in Iceland.
My journey continued through significant roles, including architecting Iceland's Netgiro and leading as CTO for Wedo, Iceland's e-commerce giant(Heimkaup.is, Hopkaup.is & Bland.is).
I then went into blockchain by creating liminal.market and, in 2023, began developing a new programming language, Plang.
